A World War Two Bayonet for an M1 rifle. Scaled from an old piece found in the home of a veteran after he passed. There is a date stamp of 1942 on the blade. My interest is in the historical design of the tool. The handle and mount seems to be castiron connected to the forged blade. It is heavy and rugged.
