M Prime One 3D printer
thingiverse
M Prime One is an open 3D printer designed with simplicity, low-cost, and ease of use in mind. With the M Prime One, we've created a 3D printer centered around three core values: Freedom of Design, Simplicity, and Accessibility. We've started from scratch, using the powerful FreeCAD software to design this printer. The entire project has been released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license, making it easy for anyone to download, modify, and utilize the files for personal use. Simplicity is another key focus area. By minimizing the number of parts involved – just two types of screws, one type of radial bearings, four motors, and a cold bed – we've streamlined the build process, reduced costs, and simplified maintenance. In addition to open-source designs, comprehensive documentation is available, including printer firmware, materials lists, slicing profiles, and a full assembly manual. We also offer support through our Q&A site, making it easier for users to find answers to common questions. The M Prime One boasts an impressive 200x150x150mm print surface, with features such as: A 1.75mm Bowden extruder Compatibility with any hotend sporting a 12mm diameter mount Magnetic bed design, allowing easy placement and removal Auto-leveling system with inductive/capacitive sensors Cable management integrated directly into the printer's design An integrated electronics holder compatible with RAMPS or SAV Mk1 (adapters available for other boards) Optional LCD display holder suitable for Smart Controller Want to build your M Prime One?
