It is the follow up after my successful M-Jet 30 project. It is improved in all areas and delivers the best performance I have achieved to date. During the M-Jet 35 development, over 100 design combinations were tested and measured. Thrust, exit velocity, efficiency, power consumption and output power were measured and compared to achieve the best result possible. Full playlist showing the development: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiFskGz_svvQjxSCElF1c1PSJKaHq8vae The M-Jet 35 features two original and innovative design elements I have never seen used before: The M-Jet single blade impeller greatly improves efficiency, while maintaining the superior 2-stage priming behavior, and is fully balanced by built-in counterweight. The M-Jet 4-path nozzle dramatically shortens the pump assembly, improves durability, raises efficiency thanks to ultrashort flow path, and brings in nearly zero backlash steering control. Update 31.10.2022: A more detailed description of the M3 brass threaded inserts was added to the part list and manual. Update 10.2.2023: A folder Mods for M-Jet 35 was added to the files. A modified second stage for a 5x10x4 bearing size was added into the folder. Update 12.6.2023: A new second stage topspeed mod was added into the mods folder. It contains modified second stages with decreased outlet diameters, ranging from -1mm to -4mm (calculated from a circle that has the same area as 4 M-Jet 35's nozzles combined). Update 16.6.2023: The topspeed mod was removed, because testing showed worse performance. Thanks Connie Stankovich for performing the test! Update 18.8.2023: A new folder tolerance_mods was added into the mods folder. It contains modified Housing and Second stage with increased bearing and seal slot dimensions, which will help if your prints are too tight. Update 16.9.2023: A new O-ring_adaptor_instead_of_oil_seal was added into the mods folder. The O-ring_adaptor_5x9x2 can be used, if you are not able to purchase the regular oil seals. You can glue this adaptor into the M-Jet 35's housing and insert an 5x9x2 O-ring. However, keep in mind that the oil seal is a much better solution. Update 30.9.2023: Some notes about the FPM / FKM rotary shaft seal and the soft O-ring were added into the manual and part list. Update 12.12.2023: A loading grate by Ryan Frair was added to the mods folder. The loader helps to push water into upper section of the intake. It showed improvement in top speed from 56 kph to 60 kph. Thank you very much for sharing! Update 19.12.2023: A finned ride plate and custom turn fins by Ryan Frair were added to the mods folder. Thanks for sharing! Furthermore, a +25° trim backflip nozzle was added into the mods folder - the first full successful backflip was performed with Valkyrie by Chris Leech. Update 27.1.2024: The motor KV chart was updated with stronger requirements for the ESC when using a 40xx size motor. The previous ESC rating suggestions turned out to be not safe enough - I apologize for the mistake. Update 31.03.2024: A STEP file of the housing assembly, which includes most parts of the M-Jet 35 except for the pump stages, was added. Update 25.04.2024: The D-slot in the plastic impeller version was extended to avoid stripping out when transferring torque. This requires you to extend the flat spot on your driveshaft by 10mm from 15mm to 25mm. Note about this has been added into the manual. Update 10.07.2024: A intake grate mod which uses 1.8mm stainless steel rods by Eric was added into the mods folder - thanks for your input! Update 19.07.2024: A modified motor mount with ESC mount, compatible with upcoming Bashjet by Vassa, was added into the mods folder. Thanks for your work.
