However, Bison twisted this wisdom for his own purposes, stripping away all semblance of goodness from his soul. In doing so, he unlocked an incredible reservoir of psychic energy within himself. Although his mortal form is no match for this power - it would simply be incinerated upon release - M. Bison has learned to transfer his consciousness into new bodies at will, rendering him effectively immortal.
