The M-42 was a World War II-era anti-aircraft gun used by the Soviet Union. Developed from the German 7.62 cm Flak 37, the M-42 featured a longer barrel and an improved firing mechanism. It fired a 12.8 kg shell at a rate of up to 20 rounds per minute.
