I made the rookie mistake of purchasing an NVMe 2280 SSD with a non-removeable heatsink. The drive temps in my small form factor PC were still higher than I would like, so I added a heatsink with fan on top of the OEM heatsink with some leftover thermal paste. The temperatures are improved and the fan on the heatsink is an added exhaust fan for the small 10L PC case. Temperatures of the drive are about 10-15°C cooler, tops out at 39°C under load. The CPU is 5-10°C cooler in the SFF case with the added exhaust fan in the perfect location.Print two of these in PETG or ASA. I printed this in PLA and temps are cool enough that it didn't immediately fail, but I am going to reprint everything in ASA once I finish my SFFPC build.
