Lⅇgo Fallout Vault Door & Rail (Project Lⅇgo Vault)

My next Lego creation is the door from Fallout 4 vault 111, crafted with precision and detail. The frame features strategically placed holes that allow for secure locking with a rod or similar mechanism. This design includes four distinct versions of the door: One version comes without any holes or bricks, providing a clean and minimalist look. The second version features mounting holes for added versatility. The third version boasts mounting holes along with a "male" brick on the back, enabling users to create custom opening mechanisms within their Lego Vault creations. Lastly, the fourth version includes mounting holes paired with a "female" brick on the back, offering even more possibilities for customization. With the latter two versions, owners can seamlessly integrate a customized opening mechanism into their Lego VAULT. Important: To achieve optimal results, it is crucial to print the door at 98% or slightly below this value; otherwise, extensive sanding may be required. Update: In response to popular demand, I have added a rail that enables the door to slide smoothly over it. However, this feature has not yet been tested. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao i3 Supports: Yes Infill: Light infill is highly recommended. Notes: Depending on the print method used, employing supports may be advisable.
