A majestic lion stands upright, proudly situated in front of the grand National Library Vienna. Crafted from rich brown sandstone sourced from Horitz in the Czech Republic, this magnificent creature holds a heraldic cartouche firmly in its paw. The four lions that adorn the entrance were skillfully created by renowned artist Fritz Zerritsch.
