Lyre
thingiverse
You can craft a fully playable and printable lyre with an acoustic soundboard that produces great sound quality. To start, use strings that are thinner than 1.2 mm in thickness for optimal results. Experimenting with fishing line, which is extremely thin, yielded surprisingly good sound, although it may not be the best choice. Before assembling your instrument, make sure to clean the supports thoroughly to ensure a precise fit for the tuning knobs. The knobs must be tightly secured into their designated rails, and they should be fitted snugly onto the top of the lyre. To facilitate this process, try turning the knobs while gently pushing them into place.
