Lynx Joule Lamp
thingiverse
For creating your very own Lynx Joule Lamp, I relied on 100 turns of 30 AWG wire, followed by 17 wraps of 23 gauge to achieve the ideal current draw for my LED bulbs. You may want to begin with 15 wraps and add a few extra feet in case you need to incorporate additional primary turns to reduce amp draw. I utilize an 11mm clip-on ferrite bead, which significantly alters amp draw. The BD243C transistor is my go-to choice due to its compact size and ability to handle the load effectively.
