Lynx Helmet - Fortnite

I'm still working on this project, but I wanted to share it with you in case someone finds it useful and wants to improve it. There are four files attached: the face part of the helmet, the top part, a full model to see how they fit together, and a side piece that prints two times and is mirrored. The idea behind this design is for the side pieces to clamp around your head, then the top shell (face + top when assembled) goes down on top to close it. I didn't want to distort the original game model, but it was impossible to get my head in without some modification, which led to the unusual clamshell-around-your-head design. The vision is pretty poor because Lynx's eyes are at cheekbone-level, so a future revision might address that issue. Assembly requires six 6x4x2mm magnets and some pins that you can print. I printed a draft version of this project to test it, and I have just a couple changes to make once I can get Blender to behave properly. I've included the Blender file I'm working with, along with a cat gif because I'm still learning what I'm doing. To-do list: - Harden edges around the front/top seam so they join together properly - Adjust the size of magnet holes to fit the 6x4x2 magnets correctly - Print pins - Consider adding tinted forehead panels for vision improvement - Explore the option of white or light-up eyes - Design and print pin models - Add ventilation - Meow.
