Lynx Extending Stock
thingiverse
Quick design of an extending stock for the Orion Blasters Lynx. It's a little sloppy (I forgot there were STEPs available and was too lazy to redo everything), but it works well for me. Designed off of ahalekelly's tall QD stock and for use with Endersavestheday's cheek rest. Included versions with and without holes. Recommend printing version with holes as IIRC there may have been assembly issues with the closed rail slots. Required existing hardware: - Takedown pin (included with lynx) - Buttplate Screws (should be able to use the ones included, but you may need bigger ones) Supplemental hardware: - 2x 6-32 nuts, normal (5/16" x 7/64"), not the ones that come with the lynx for barrel retention. - 2x 6-32x3/8" screws to secure (recommend long thumbscrews if you can find them, up to 7/8" is tolerable and you can always cut) - 2x 4.5"x5/16" smooth cylindrical rod. I cut a driveway marker (orange fiberglass rod) but you can use metal or whatever. - Glue to glue the rods into the plate. You can drill and screw too I guess. Instructions for use: Unscrew (x2), position, tighten (x2), repeat.
