The Lyman Filament Extruder V6 was originally designed for a Church Group through Pastor Glenn Grimsley, but after his accident, I changed the Creative Commons Attributions to Share Alike to ensure its availability to everyone. This simple extruder worked so well that I built three more - one each for black, white, and colored filaments. Designing the V6 Extruder was a straightforward process that yielded an easy-to-make, inexpensive device capable of producing high-quality ABS filaments. As the design progressed, several updates were made, resulting in 69 STL files being created, although only about 20 are actually used. I have included most of these files for your reference, so feel free to browse through them and print out the ones you can manage. The attached Construction Manual provides a comprehensive guide on how to create one V6 extruder, including the Bill of Materials (BOM) and wiring diagrams. However, please note that the Spool Winder is not included in this package but will be available separately soon. I currently have three V6 extruders at my disposal - one for white filaments, one for black filaments, and a third for other colored filaments. Based on my experience, I've found that two features aren't essential to me: the fan and the variable speed control. In my shop configuration, adjusting the temperature and nozzle size are sufficient to control the filament diameter.
