To seamlessly connect the engine dehydrator to my Lycoming O-360, I created a straightforward adapter plug. The thread is a standard 1 1/8-12 UNF and the hole is 8 mm in diameter, allowing for a snug fit of a 6 mm plastic tube. It's already quite tight, but I added an O-ring to give it a more professional finish! Edit: I also designed an adapter that attaches a 6 mm (8 mm outer diameter) plastic tube to the end of a 5/8" breather tube, along with a clip to seal the breather tube "whistle hole".
