I decided on a new knob because I recently swapped the switches in my house for white ones. The dimmer itself was functioning perfectly, but it sported an ivory knob that just didn't match. After scouring through various options, I found myself with two choices: either purchase a brand-new switch featuring a white knob or fabricate one myself.
