Lush shampoo bar tray
thingiverse
My wife relies on shampoo bars from the store Lush, but there's a snag when you purchase them: they don't come with any container to hold them in. Initially, we experimented with storing them in the small black pots that other Lush products come in. I drilled some holes at the bottom of these black pots to allow water to drain out. While this helped prevent the shampoo bars from getting wet during showers, it still didn't permit enough air circulation for full drying. To solve this issue, I created custom trays that support the shampoo bars inside the small black pots and facilitate easier water drainage. These trays feature spikes that can be positioned upright when needed to speed up the drying process. Simply place the tray with the spikes facing upwards, and you'll notice how well the design works out. Here are the print settings used: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 15% Post-printing steps involve drilling holes in the bottom of the black pots and placing the printed trays inside them.
