Lure Organizer

Lure Organizer

This is a lure organizer I built at my wife's request. I'm not an angler like her but I've seen her deal with those tangled, sharp, lures. Hopefully, someone else will find this useful. There are drainage holes in the bottom of each slot. There is a 2mm gap between the lid grid and the box grid to allow room for the hooks and hold them in place. The STLs have mouse ears to help with adhesion. I had some issues with warping because of the size. You'll also need some additional parts from Amazon. Yes, you can print all of this but I wanted a professional look. The handle works well with a #10 1/2" flat head screw and nut. You'll also want some glue or epoxy to hold the hinge plug. Buying a magnetic pickup tool like these might be useful too. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08N5TJZ6R/ I printed this with 100% infill, no brim, and .28mm layer height on an Ender 5 Plus. The box took 117 hours. The lid took 21 hours. You will need to change your filament mid-print and having a way to manage that is highly advised. You can obviously make this faster but again, I wanted a more professional look for my wife. Best of luck.
