Lupercal Pattern Bolters

“The Lupercal Pattern Bolter was an amazing weapon of its time. Designed during the Great Crusade, these weapons were made by Techmarines of the Lunar Wolves Legion, before their turn. It far surpassed all other bolters that were used during that time, except for the Tigris bolter, which was less than or equal to the power of the Lupercal bolter. It saw action from the final months of the Great Crusade, to the very end of the Horus Heresy, almost exclusively to the Lunar Wolves/Sons of Horus legion. Rumor has it members of the Black Legion and their allies still use it. I don’t doubt it, as a large number of them were produced. The reason why I say it was almost exclusive to them, was because during the Heresy, loyalist forces were able to get their hands on the schematics of said weapons, and were able to manufacture their own. A slim number of chapters still use this pattern of bolter, specifically in areas of the galaxy where the Black Legion are said to operate. Those said chapters probably do it out of spite, and to put those weapons to good use, in the service of The Emperor, rather than the enemies of man.” -Imperial Weapons Engineer. The design of these bolters come from the artwork used for the book Horus Heresy: False Gods, where Lunar Wolves are seen using an unknown pattern of bolter, which I dubbed the Lupercal Bolters, as they were the only ones who have been depicted as using them. All weapons are scaled to be used with Firstborn Space Marines, and the old Horus Heresy sets. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
