Lunokhod-1, or Apparatus 8EL No. 203, was the first spacecraft to successfully operate on the moon from November 17, 1970 to September 14, 1971. It belonged to a series of Soviet remote-controlled, self-propelled lunar explorers called "Lunokhod," under project E-8. The rover functioned on the moon for eleven lunar days (equivalent to 10.5 Earth months) and covered 10,540 meters in its journey. Remarkably, the scale of this model is nearly 1:1. The design was created using Solid Works 2016, while rendering was completed with SolidWorks PhotoView 360.
