The retrieval arm weighs only .48Kg excluding the battery and sample cups, made of 6061-T6, Ti-6AL-4V, and PTFE materials. It is capable of grasping fine regolith and dropping it, as well as picking up rock samples. With a complete 360-degree visual verification, it only accepts samples when fully verified.
