This is a revised Arduino sketch that employs NEOPIXELs instead of dotstar strips. While dotstar strips are impressive, they come with a higher price tag and aren't strictly necessary for this project. The wiring diagram remains unchanged except for the fact that the LED strip communicates via a 1-wire serial protocol, necessitating only D5 to be connected to the signal input. A useful tutorial on the differences between dotstar and NEOPIXEL can be found at https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-dotstar-leds/overview. The following libraries have been installed in the Arduino IDE: https://bintray.com/olikraus/u8glib/Arduino https://learn.adafruit.com/monochrome-oled-breakouts/arduino-library-and-examples https://learn.adafruit.com/dht/downloads?view=all#downloads https://learn.adafruit.com/ds1307-real-time-clock-breakout-board-kit/what-is-an-rtc?view=all#arduino-library https://github.com/FastLED/FastLED/releases/tag/v3.1.3 It's worth noting that using the stock libraries from Adafruit for graphics proved problematic, and a helpful hint can be found at http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=364400.0. Simply configure the library settings for the 128x64 display to resolve the issue.
