Lunalele 1.2 Playable Crescent Moon Ukulele
thingiverse
Hello there. I designed a ukulele shaped like a crescent moon. The name Luna is Italian for moon. If you are interested in 3D printing one, make sure you have a set of geared tuning pegs. Please enjoy. How to assemble version 1.2: Slot in the neck into the body. If it is a press fit, then you will probably not need super glue. Use tuning pegs and screw them in. The head-stock is smaller than normal, so I had to overlap the tuning pegs together. I uploaded a photo of how the tuning pegs should be oriented when mounting them into place. Tie in one string at a time and tune the instrument. The strings will get out of tune at first, but once the strings rest, they will stay in tune. Parts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EQ23YFQ/ You can use whatever soprano/concert ukulele strings you want. If there are any issues with the instrument, let me know, so I can try making any necessary adjustments.
