Luna Park Side Tower- Coney Island Play Set
thingiverse
A fantasy architecture design inspired by Coney Island's original Luna Park, created in 1903 by rebel architect Frederic Thompson, is presented here as a 3D model. The intricate structure features numerous minarets and towers with a mix of architectural styles ranging from far eastern to renaissance. At night, the landscape was transformed into an electrifying spectacle illuminated by hundreds of thousands of lights. Jason Batukis and the MakerBot Botfarm successfully printed this design for the 2012 Mermaid Parade trophies. To recreate this model, print the parts and assemble them using white or clear plastic before positioning two towers on either side of a printed Electric Tower model (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13046). Enjoy your fantasy Coney Island landscape!
