We consistently experienced multiple crashes with the Phantom and the original LumeCube bracket inevitably shattered due to its sturdy yet fragile design that breaks apart upon impact. I found the weight of the counter nut, made entirely from metal (aluminum), to be particularly objectionable. Consequently, I decided to create a replacement part that incorporates flexibility to minimize immediate breakage. The screw is reused from the original component, while the new nut is constructed from stainless steel with an outer diameter of ¼ inch or 11mm. Moreover, the counter nut now weighs only 10 grams compared to the original's 20 grams. This project remains a work in progress. Please note that I provide this information without any warranty of suitability for your specific needs. If you experience damage to the bracket (or its parts), LumeCube, landing gear, or incur any other harm as a result of using this component, it is your sole responsibility. By utilizing this part, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
