Lulzbot Taz Webcam Mount v2
thingiverse
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2325641 is the blueprint I used for my Logitech Webcam.\r\nAt my workplace, we have a Microsoft Webcam attached to a Taz, so I'm creating a version 2 design.\r\n\r\nThe Microsoft Webcam mounting system differs from the original, so instead of two bolts down the center of the two-piece mount clamping block, I designed a new mount clamping block with a bolt on either side. I also updated the Arm's design slightly and carried over that change to the mounting block.\r\n\r\nI'm still using wantmys2000's Dropcam Mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:745446) bottom support bracket.\r\n\r\nAll pieces are printed with ABS due to the proximity of the heated bed.\r\n\r\nTwo Arms need to be printed and all parts must be rotated so they lay flat. For the bottom support bracket, print with supports for stronger mounting ends since the outline is drawn with a 2mm thick wall.\r\n\r\nI used x6 M3 heat-set inserts (https://www.mcmaster.com/#94180a333/=17nqddx),\r\nx4 M3 10mm hex screws (https://www.mcmaster.com/#socket-head-cap-screws/=17nqe5p) for the sides, and\r\nx2 M3 6mm hex screws (https://www.mcmaster.com/#socket-head-cap-screws/=17nqks7) for the mounting block\r\n\r\nI included a webcam POV picture as well.\r\nIf you enjoy this design and decide to print it, please share your photos.\r\n\r\nIf I hear feedback that the bottom support bracket is weak and breaks easily, I might work on an updated design.
