Lulzbot TAZ Dropcam Mount
thingiverse
This mount for Dropcam was designed specifically for the TAZ 5, attaching itself securely to the front bracket of the Y Axis while featuring an adjustable camera angle that allows for a superior view of the print job as compared to the traditional top-down perspective. STL files are provided for your convenience and can be downloaded at no cost; the parametric model itself is hosted on OnShape, where you can create a free account in order to access it directly via the following link: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/2d9c471e578b4fdc8b66f18c/w/4f9d918ed7ca41e99775d3be/e/65c4442b42054040a908ae7a. Print 2 Right Side Plates, 1 Mount, and 1 Bottom Support. When printing everything, flat surfaces are the preferred orientation, except for the Bottom Support which should be printed with its top edge oriented on the plate itself, thus negating any need for supports during the process. After completing these three components, the side plates can be linked together to form the main assembly of the mount. Then insert the Mount into its respective holes and slots within the Y Axis bracket, taking note that the fit between parts is quite snug, allowing users the option to secure it with a 3mm bolt or washer for added stability, especially when aiming for optimal camera angle settings.
