Lulzbot Taz 6 Raspberry Pi Case with Camera Mount
thingiverse
I was thrilled by numerous features on several Pi cases found on this site, but wasn't entirely satisfied with any single one for my Taz 6. So I took bits from each of them and created one that truly makes me happy. To allow the Pi Camera to reach across the device, you'll need an extended cable; I bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J68TJ7L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I also routed the cable between the computer box and frame as shown in the second picture, ensuring that the ribbon cable wouldn't be affected by any moving parts. It's a good idea to secure the ribbon with tape so it doesn't accidentally touch the Z axis components. To keep my case shut, I used a handheld torch with a flat heated tip to melt key areas together, holding it firmly in place. The interior of the case fits snugly, keeping the Pi from shifting once the case is closed.
