Lulzbot Taz 6 Palette 2 Pro Adapter Hanging Mounting Plate

Hi there! I recently purchased a Mosaic Manufacturing Palette Pro 2 for my Taz 6. One of the options they offer is the ability to hang the Palette off your printer, but unfortunately, the hanging plate they provide won't fit on a Taz 6's side rails. This interface adapter aims to fix that problem. First: use this at your own risk. I accept no responsibility and disclaim any warranties, either expressed or implied, fitness for a particular purpose, etc. If this falls off your chassis and breaks your Palette, that's on you. If it smashes into your glass build plate and breaks your printer - that's on you too. You're accepting complete responsibility for anything bad that happens. Requirements: - The Mosaic Palette 2 Pro Hanging Mount Plate (comes with the unit) - This Adapter, printed in ABS at a layer height of 0.33mm, 95% infill, Octet Fill Pattern (Tetrahedral) - 4 x M4*12mm Flat Head Cap Screw (FHCS; Tapered Head), Black Oxide - 4 x M4 Posilok Nuts (Nylon Locking Nuts), Black Oxide - 4 x M5*10mm Button Head Cap Screw (BHCS), Black Oxide - 4 x M5 Washers, Black Oxide - 4 x M5 T-Spring Nut Instructions: - Attach the Original Mosaic Hanging Plate to this adapter using M4*12mm FHCS screws and Posilok nuts. Tighten screws securely. - Slide the M5 T-Spring nuts up the two right-hand outside vertical rails on your Taz 6 (2 per side). - Separate the M5 T-Spring nuts so that you can get at all four easily, even when the plate is on. Align the top two evenly spaced from the top. - Hold this adapter plate over the top of the top two T-Spring nuts. Screw in place with two x M5*10 BHCS screws and a washer, secure tightly. - Slide the bottom two T-Spring nuts into place so as to line them up to the bottom holes of this adapter plate. Screw in place with the same type of screws and washers used for the top two screws. - Hang the Palette 2 from the original Mosaic Mount. - Voila! Note: I've included a second version of this which includes an area where you can run the cabling to the Palette 2, without having to see it from inside the frame of the Lulzbot Taz 6. If you want to use the one with the wire channel, you will need to print WITH SUPPORTS. Happy four-color printing! * Mosaic, Mosaic Manufacturing, Palette, and all other trademarks are the properties of their respective owners. This is simply an unofficial after-market accessory that's provided for your convenience, and used at your own risk.
