UPDATED Added f3d project archive. Message me and I can add you to the Fusion 360 project group. Moved the Titan mount to the lowest position to ensure the Z height on home doesn't bottom out the travel due to the nozzle being too short on the E3D V6. Reverted to old fan design as the Pancake stepper couldn't push 3mm filament and the previous design was too long to mount. I wanted to attach a E3D Titan to my Taz 6, however the existing designs required drilling holes or using an existing mount. The spacer thickness was also too thick and my stepper motor shaft didn't reach the idler. Instead, this design allows you to build your E3D setup and mount it just like any other toolhead. I took the factory toolhead file, copied the backplate into a new file then pasted in the existing Titan mounts. I aligned and measured everything, the E3D V6's nozzle will be a bit shorter in length to the bed from the factory hotend, and should allow mounting a E3D Volcano with little to no loss in Z height. This is my first time using Fusion 360 and modeling for many years (did CAD in high school, Windows 98 days), had some source engine modeling experience a bit later. Feedback is appreciated! Requires: E3D Titan Extruder 24v E3D V6 Hotend or Volcano 38mm or shorter (pancake is NOT ok YMMV, tweak current) Stock Stepper is too long! 8x M3 Heat Inserts 2x M2 Heat Inserts 2x M2 8mm screws 4x M3 12mm Countersunk (flat socket head cap) screws 1x 30mm 5v fan 2x 40mm 24v fan 1x Microswitch (Digikey Part: SW768-ND) 1x 16 pin Connector Housing (Digikey PN: WM2525-ND) 20x Male Crimp Connectors (Digikey PN: WM2517-ND) Misc M3 screws for fan mounting. Printed Parts I also purchased some M3 sink in brass nuts for that legendary Lulzbot build quality (push into plastic), but one could easily use M3 bolts with nylon nuts. EDIT 4/27/2017 Modified model so the holder and fan mounts are joined to the backplate instead of sitting on top of the backplate.
