Chopped off sections of each original model to save time and filament, but both clamps seem incredibly stable. Tweaking it further for aesthetic reasons seems unlikely, though. I used the Simple Spool Mount for my tube since I already had it on hand. It works fantastically well. Also, I should mention that the 2 parts are not identical - they're just mirror images of each other so they line up perfectly when facing.
