To metalize my TAZ 5 Z motor mounts, I attempted to separate the coupler from both the lead-screw and motor using traditional wrenches, but it was unsuccessful. Applying WD40 didn't help either; perhaps heat would have been more effective. The set screws seemed epoxied in, making them difficult to grip with an allen wrench as each had a different size. Ultimately, the process was destructive as the couplers stretch plastically easily. Now I am searching for replacements on Lulzbot, Misumi, and other websites.
