Here is rewritten text: Firstly, thanks to users of Lulzbot Community for open designs and great user support. \nSecondly, thanks to Vitormhenrique for the inspiration and kicking off the upgrade a while back.\nThis combination of files and software updates a TAZ 5 to Marlin 1.1, enabling auto bed leveling, thermal protection, Z-Probe addition, improved extruder fan, and dual filament cooling fans.\nPurchase required items: Z-Probe, Opto isolator, 2 40mmx10 24v fans, 1 40mmx10 5v fan, connectors depending on TAZ 5 build date, new screws and heat set inserts.\nThe Firmware has been ported with the Taz 5 settings by Sebastian. \nThe changes from vanilla Marlin 1.1 are listed below:\nPrint required items:\n- Left Fan Duct\n- Right Fan Duct\n- Extruder Fan Duct\n- Strengthened Extruder Mount and Spacer\n-Z Probe Mount\n- Extruder Mount Lancewood\nPrint Settings:\nPrinter Brand: LulzBot\n Printer: TAZ 5\n Rafts: Doesn't Matter\n Supports: Doesn't Matter\n Infill: 65+\nGCode for Autobed level and Prime / Purge Nozzle\nStart GCode including nozzle purge and wipe\nG91; switch to relative positioning\nG1 Z10; safe raise of z axis to ensure probe doesn't hit bed clamp\nG90; switch back to absolute positioning\nG28; home all axes\nG29; level print bed\nG1 X298 Y137 Z2 F5000; move to wait position right hand side of the table\nG1 Z0.4; position nozzle\nG1 E25 F300; purge nozzle\nM400; wait for purge to complete\nG1 X285 F1200; slow wipe\nG1 Z0.5 F1200; lift\nFirmware\nChanges to original Marlin 1.1 RC2:\n.TAZ specific values added (steps/mm, ..)\n.New value in 1.1 "Travel acceleration" set to 1200\n.Enabled FW retraction with best values for that\n.Enable SD Support\n.Reduced extruder acceleration from 3000 to 2400\nEnabled filament change possibility\n.Preheat options for PLA and ABS\n.All changes for Lulzbot-specific (only Boot logo, another font )\nJust for information: thermal protection enabled by default in Marlin release. If NPN or I suggest using buck converter to lower voltage the probe sees.\nUsing PNP, the sensor will source current:Sensor to 24V, Ground, and the output of selsor to IN-1.Ground to GROUND on the "IN* side of the board".\nEndstop connected to VCC and OUT-1 (you need to check polarity)\nIf NPN, sensor will sink current:\nUsing NPN or sensor will source current: Sensor to 24V, Ground, and the output of selsor to IN-1.Ground to GROUND on the "IN* side of the board".
