Lulzbot Mini Toolholder
thingiverse
I designed my own toolholder for the Lulzbot Mini after being inspired by jiaqiren's toolholder. I wanted a custom version that fit perfectly with the tools delivered with the printer, unlike the original design. The toolholder sits on the left side of the printer, above the power supply, allowing me to maintain an unobstructed view of my prints while keeping it neatly in place. Each tool, including the standard-sized 30mm glue stick, has its own tailored compartment within the toolholder. This makes it easy for me to stow and withdraw the tools as needed. After using the toolholder extensively, I'm extremely pleased with its design and the practical benefits it provides. If you have any questions or additional ideas, please feel free to share them! Printer Settings: Brand - LulzBot; Model - Mini; Rafts - No; Supports - No; Resolution - 0.25mm; Infill - 0.2 Notes: I printed the toolholder in white nGen for presentation purposes, but black would be a perfect match for the printer's design. The print took 9 hours and 14 minutes to complete, using 96 grams of filament. To save time and maintain a smooth outer shell with a thickness of 1mm, I printed it without supports or rafts. Although the big bridging area of the glue stick holder could benefit from some support, this would significantly increase print time and have minimal impact on its functionality.
