Lulzbot Mini Spool Arm Adapter
thingiverse
I wanted a spool arm for my mini that was even smoother, so I decided to make one myself. The design features a gentle curve that allows the filament spool to rotate smoothly and is compact enough to work with various spool sizes. To improve it further, I added a v2 quick mod, which includes slanted edges at both ends. After using this design for a while now, I've found that printing it in Lulzbot Green ABS results in an exceptionally smooth curved edge. The spools spin with significantly less friction. For optimal results, stand the spool arm upright with the slanted tab at the top and use a brim to secure it in place.
