I've never been happy with the tight fit between the belt mounts and the belt, so I created a new design. The hex screws now sit 2mm away from the belt, reducing wear and tear caused by friction against the pully. This change has greatly improved the lifespan of my belts. *Update*: After installing a replacement belt mount, I noticed it rubbed against the metal frame near the Y idler mount. To fix this issue, I trimmed 1.5mm from the top to match the original height, but only shifted the screw and insert hole slightly. This adjustment should still provide adequate strength. I decided to keep my old belt mount as a backup, as it can safely be used on the X-axis. To ensure proper usage, I printed both X and Y axis beltmount replacements and made sure to use them in their designated positions. *Update 2*: To further optimize the design, I edited the Y-axis version to be asymmetric, redistributing the stress to maintain maximum strength where it's most needed, avoiding unnecessary wear on the frame.
