Lulzbot Mini 2 Enclosure
thingiverse
We were thrilled to discover an enclosure for our new Mini-2 on Printed Solid / drandolfph's thingiverse page, and we're grateful for their generosity in sharing it with the community. To make it compatible with our Mini-2, we made a few modifications that we'd like to share. Firstly, we decided to laser-cut the enclosure from 3mm clear PETG and ABS sheets to give it added strength and durability. While PETG clear sheet has a slight milky appearance, it's more than sufficient for our needs, eliminating concerns about over-tightening. The modification notes are conveniently listed on a "notes" layer that can be easily turned off. The first two pages feature 3mm clear sheets, while the last two pages use 3mm black ABS sheet, which may not be entirely necessary but offers a sturdier alternative to acrylic. In addition to the standard 3D prints, don't forget to print the special top-right corner mount designed by PrintedSolid. This clever design ensures that it clears the control box, providing a seamless fit for your Mini-2 enclosure.
