Lulzbot Logo Layered for Single/Dual Extrusion
thingiverse
I've created a multi-color Lulzbot logo, inspired by SensibleDesign's design, that can be printed without a multi-material system. I've included STL files for all my attempts. **Lulzbot Logo (3 Layers).STL**: This file is designed for a single extruder with two manual filament changes. Print 0 to 2mm in white, switch and print 2 to 3mm in green, then switch again and print 3 to 4mm in black. Although I'm not entirely happy with this design, it's worth noting that the center white parts may be difficult to see when the green and black layers are printed due to the 2mm recess being too far. **Lulzbot Logo (4 Layers).STL**: This file is similar to the previous one but includes an extra white layer on top for better visibility of the center bits. It's intended for a 0.2mm layer height, with the first layer at 0.3mm. Print 0 to 1.1mm in white, switch and print 1.1 to 1.7 in green, then switch again and print 1.7 to 2.3 in black, followed by a final switch and print of 2.3 to 2.9 in white. **Lulzbot Logo (Dual Extruder).STL**: This file is designed for printing with dual extruders and a single filament change. Combine all four files in your slicer and set it so green and black are printed by one extruder, while white is printed by the other. Print 0 to 1.1mm in green and white, switch and print 1.1 to 1.9 in black and white. To modify the filament changes in your slicer's gcode, insert a M600 command or use this snippet: https://github.com/joshcarter/3d_printing/blob/master/manual_filament_change.gcode Fusion 360 files are also included for further customization of the logo plate.
With this file you will be able to print Lulzbot Logo Layered for Single/Dual Extrusion with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Lulzbot Logo Layered for Single/Dual Extrusion.
