LulzBot IP Mini Logitech C270 IP Cam & LED Mount

Needed a mount for my Logitech C270, along with LEDs for monitoring / recording prints via OctoPrint. I note that this requires both a mount for the C270 (or your IP cam) and an interface to the mounting arm. To solve this, I utilized flex arm components and created some custom pieces. To assemble the camera mount, you can utilize the tube and screws from dismantling your existing C270 mount. Once you have those assembled, you're good to go. Next, cut down the flex hose piece using a dremel or hacksaw, depending on what tools you have available. Make sure to glue it securely inside the upper part of the camera mount arm, specifically in the curved section. Take your knife and scrape off some material from the rim of the arm, increasing the bonding area for the glue. Wait until the mount arm and flex tube glue has fully dried before proceeding to the next step. Now comes the tricky part: insert the ball end of the flex tube piece (mounted to the camera) into the receiving end of the flex tube you cut down earlier. If you're working with PLA, which melts at a low temperature, you may want to explore alternative methods. The hack I used was boiling water in a tray or cup and then popping it into place within 5 seconds after submerging the end. Ensure that your hands are positioned correctly for optimal grip. This innovative setup will keep things straight while the bonding process takes effect. Make sure not to budge the pieces, as slight movements can compromise their integrity.
