However, this particular version did not consistently hold onto the tube, so several alternative designs were created to improve upon it. The reason for these modifications is rooted in frustration with the Taz 5 printer's inability to prevent filament from getting stuck and jamming during printing. Despite numerous attempts, the problem persisted unless a modified holder was used to secure the tube in place. When switching to a dual extruder toolhead, the issue became even more pronounced, leading to incomplete prints due to the lack of a functioning extruder. To resolve this, an additional holder had to be printed before printing could continue. Through trial and error, a functional design was finally achieved. While some adjustments might still be made in the future, such as increasing the size of the holder, the current version effectively prevents tube removal and snagging during printing.
