The Profile for laser cutting out an Acrylic side panel to enclose the Lulzbot Mini 3D printer has been designed to utilize latching clips, located at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:756121. These clips secure this panel to the printer without any modifications and can be easily removed. The right side panel does require repositioning or modification of the spool holder. A simple 3D printed bracket has been created to replace the hinged arm, as well as a backing plate for mounting it to the frame at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:766347, and a modified version of the stock arm at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:766330, providing for a more secure and easily removable spool arm. This does require removing or modifying the hinged spool holder, located at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:756064. Benefits of using this design include a simple panel for enclosing the right side, secure and removable spool arm, and no more fallen spools.
