Please find here my banana box. I am proud to say it is made with Solidworks to improve my knowledge using some functions of this software, not the regular kind, but a real thing. Cut in two parts, then you can have a box on your desk for small stuff or even a pen. This banana was designed after a real one, using its pure natural dimensions. The real banana is now dead; rest in peace. This banana was cute but small, so I suggest printing at 120% to get a bigger one. I have both and prefer the biggest. I like the concept of printing parts in color instead of printing and painting. I'm really bad with painting, and this can be a challenge when designing accordingly. In that particular case, it was simple. You have several parts to print; choose your color. I used PLA yellow and brown. You can even print in light green if you want instead of yellow. Proudly printed on my stock CR10 with Ariane Plast filament. Print parts with the junction area on the bed; no support needed. Parts need to be rotated before printing. Assemble the junction part on one side with glue and let the other free. Then you have a box. Take care, this part is not symmetrical and follows the exact design of the banana; try it before gluing.
