Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber (simplified/Easier to Print)

This is a simplified version of Luke Skywalker's iconic light saber from the 6th movie, streamlined to make it easier to print. Measuring just under a foot tall, this model stands as a faithful representation of the original, with a few key modifications made to simplify assembly. The entire lightsaber has been broken down into six distinct parts, each numbered #1-6 for easy identification. Assembly is straightforward: part 1 attaches securely to part 2, which in turn connects to part 3, and so on, forming a seamless whole. To aid in this process, I've included clear photographs of the individual components as well as the completed model, showcasing how each piece fits together perfectly when placed in order. To ensure accurate assembly, pins are embedded within each part, corresponding precisely with pre-drilled holes that allow for precise alignment and secure attachment. However, to achieve a truly robust build, you'll need to apply a small amount of glue (I personally used ABS cement) to hold all six parts firmly together. A thoughtful design feature includes a small hole at the lightsaber's base, allowing you to clip it securely onto your belt using a paperclip or similar device. While this model is remarkably faithful to the original, some minor scaling may be necessary depending on the size of your hand to achieve an optimal fit. I hope you derive immense pleasure from constructing and owning this fantastic light saber model!
