The Skywalker lightsaber was built by Anakin Skywalker and given to his son, Luke Skywalker, by Obi-Wan Kenobi. This was the first lightsaber to be shown on screens. Star Wars prop makers rescue and modified a Graflex 3-cell flash with 6 T-Rails, a Circuit Card, and a D-Ring to create Luke Skywalker's iconic lightsaber in Star Wars Episode V: Empire Strikes Back.
