Luke's Compass
thingiverse
Hi Everyone, I'm excited to share my design for Luke's Compass, as seen in The Last Jedi. To make it easy to print and customize, I've separated the parts from each other. This way, you can choose your favorite colors and still print them all at once. For best results, please print this model sitting flat on your bed or table. I made some minor updates to my original design, raising the central column slightly so that it showcases the orb more prominently. To ensure smooth movement in the hinge, I recommend using 1.75mm filament. For an extra-realistic look, consider printing the orb with clear material and then painting it a lovely shade of blue using acrylic model paints. The rest of the model can be painted as soon as you're ready. I based this design on the limited images available online, so I hope you like it! If you do decide to print Luke's Compass, please share your finished pictures with me - I'd love to see how they turn out! Thanks for taking a look at my creation.
