Bust of Luise Countess von Voß (1780-1865) Depicted is Luise Countess von Voß, a woman of great importance in Prussian history. Born in 1780 to Caroline Friederike von Berg and her husband, the Countess would go on to marry August Ernst Count von Voß in 1800. This union brought together two influential families, further solidifying their positions within Prussian society. For nearly a decade following 1807, Luise Countess von Voß hosted a renowned political salon that drew in several prominent reformers of the time. These individuals saw her home as a place where they could discuss and shape the future of Prussia. The bust of Luise Countess von Voß is part of an impressive collection at the Berlin city museum, featuring over 3,000 objects, with roughly one-third being portrait busts of notable figures from Berlin's artistic, academic, and governmental circles. The model used to create this digital representation was based solely on photographs taken from a single angle, resulting in some minor imperfections visible at the top of the head.
