I designed a lock specifically to keep patio umbrellas from spinning wildly when tilted to block the sun's harsh rays. It's engineered to fit snugly onto 37mm umbrella poles, although it might also work for slightly smaller or larger sizes - 36-38mm - but that remains untested.
