Lug Nut Covers Container for Tesla Model 3 Tsportline Wheels

I had just accepted delivery of my new Model 3 and was eager to start working on some modifications. To keep my mind occupied, I ordered a set of Tsportline wheels with winter tires in mind. Alongside the wheels, I purchased lug nut covers that were packaged in a flimsy box, which led me to think about storage solutions for when I swap out my wheels each season. My family has been teasing me mercilessly over this project, and I must admit that it's probably not the most practical design. However, I'm proud to say that I now have a custom-made container specifically designed to store lug nut covers - something that few people can claim. The 3D printing process took significantly longer than expected, with each part requiring more than 12 hours to complete. The entire box and lid occupied nearly the full platform on my MK3s (210x210 mm), which was a bit of an inconvenience. While there's certainly room for improvement in terms of design, this project has been a learning experience that I'm happy to have undertaken. I used PETG for the prints, but if you plan to store your container indoors or in a garage, PLA would be a suitable alternative. If you're interested in purchasing lug nut covers like these, I recommend searching on Amazon for more affordable options (available for under $15).
