A fan art recreation of the Ludens Peace Mark Unit keychain released by Kojima Productions in late 2022 **** In Early 2022, Kojima Productions announced the “LUDENS” Peace Mark Unit charm. They claim that “all proceeds from the sale of this product will be donated directly to those who have been evacuated from Ukraine to Japan.” This gorgeous limited-run product is now (perhaps permanently) sold out. On the back of the “key-chain” there's a laser-printed message-- “NO MORE WAR." As one born in a country consumed by civil war the message spoke to me and inspired me to create this design as means of passing on and honouring the spirit of behind the words. I made several versions, which are meant to be printed at 50mm in diameter and 5mm in height like the original charm. You can use them as a keychain or as Christmas decorations. However, the “diamond” detail will not resolve very well in FDM/filament printers (it'll look more like a tiny circle). If you prefer a clean surface, go for the “_no_charm” version. The samples photos are from the first version, which had slimmer profiles and smaller punch hole; the updated version is much closer in design language to the original design, and has a punch hole that accommodates the original lanyard, which was pretty thick. PRINTING DETAILS I printed the first drafts at .2 mm height, ironing mode enabled, and a 45mm/s, no supports, no rafts or other forms of bed adhesion needed. Infill of 10% grid and 2 top layer skins for best results. I find the lack of weight unappealing (considering the original one is quite hefty) so if this bothers you, you might want to up the infill to 100%, which will add more weight to it. Finally, if you find the punch hole to be a bit tight, you can up the horizontal expansion by a bit, or just up the hole expansion. Feel free to scale up any version, but only scale down the ones with “_no_charm” at the end. NO MORE WAR. PS: review my profile for a coaster version
