Lucy Van Pelt - MMU
myminifactory
Human: MMU version of Lucy van Pelt, from the comic strip Peanuts by Charles Schulz. Lucy is a force to be reckoned with, known for her outspoken personality and tendency to boss others around, particularly Linus and Charlie Brown. She's not entirely heartless, but she can come across as quite abrasive, often taking on the role of villain in many stories. The model stands at 72mm tall. This MMU version was inspired by my non-MMU design, reworked specifically for a clean MMU print: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-lucy-van-pelt-44065 Enjoy printing this model and don't forget to share your creations! ------------------------------------------------------------------ Instructions: Due to Lucy's distinctive chin shape, there's a good chance that the underside of her chin won't come out smooth with standard layer settings. To combat this issue, I'm offering two print options. 1. Single piece: You can print this version as is or try printing it at a 22-degree angle, tilting it backwards to improve the chin's surface quality. 2. Two-piece model: This is how I printed it myself. The head parts are angled to ensure a smooth chin finish, while the rest of the model prints upright. Once complete, the head fits snugly into the body. The two 3MF files include all the Prusa Slicer settings I used. For those who prefer a different slicer, I've also included STL files for each print option: * The 'onepiece' STL files are suitable for single-piece printing. * The 'twopiece' STL files are perfect for printing the head at an angle separate from the body. The supplied files are optimized for the smallest recommended size of the model. You can safely scale it up without issue, but I wouldn't recommend scaling it down further.
