Lucy Van Pelt - MMU
cults3d
Human: MMU version of Lucy van Pelt, from the comic strip Peanuts by Charles Schulz. Lucy is known as a "fussbudget", a crabby girl who bullies other characters in the strip, especially Linus and Charlie Brown. While she's not exactly heartless, she can be quite aggressive, often playing the villain role in many stories. The model presented here stands at 72mm tall. This MMU model was adapted from my non-MMU model (reworked for a clean MMU print): https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/lucy-van-pelt Enjoy, and don't forget to share your creations! Instructions: Due to Lucy's chin shape, there is a good chance that your printer will struggle to produce a smooth underside (or at least not as smooth as I would have liked it with .2mm layers). So, I'm offering the model in two ways. 1. One piece: This can be printed as is or at a 22deg angle tilting backwards to help smooth out the chin or simply printed upside down. 2. Two pieces: This is how I printed it. All the head parts are tilted so the chin prints nicely and the rest of the model prints standing up. The head then fits into the body when complete. The two 3MF files contain all the parameters I used for the Prusa Slicer. I've also included all the STL files in case you use a different slicer: -The STL files starting with 'onepiece' can be used for the single print. -The STL files starting with 'twopiece' can be used to print the head at an angle separate from the body. The supplied files are for the smallest recommended size of the model. The model can be sized up without issue, but I wouldn't recommend sizing it down any further.
